Opportunities From: Community Action House

Volunteer: Farm to Food Club: Event Support

Each year, Community Action House hosts the fundraising event Farm to Food Club, a major donor cultivation dinner designed to deepen relationships with our most committed supporters. As a volunteer at this event, you’ll be helping with Dishwashing (shift from 6PM-10:30PM) or Clean Up Crew (7:30PM-10:30PM). We’d love for you to arrive about 10 minutes before your shift so that you are able to enjoy the wonderful meal.

Dishwashers are responsible for washing, drying, and organizing all dishes, utensils, and cookware throughout prep and dinner service.

Clean up Crew is responsible for taking down decorations at the end of night, putting items away, including taking down event lighting, putting away event decor in storage, removing linens from tables, clearing all tables of dirty dishes and bringing them to the dish room, and assisting with washing dishes as needed.
