Holland Community Garden

Who We Are

The Holland Community Garden (HCG) is a joint project between Community Action House, the Holland Area Master Gardeners, and the Macatawa Resource Center.

Everyone deserves access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Volunteer-powered and overseen by certified master gardeners, our Community Garden provides locally-grown produce to our community, and you’ll often find its bounty on offer at our Community Kitchen and Food Club.

What We Do

Volunteers at the Garden work on planting, harvesting, bed preparation and maintenance of many fruits, vegetables, herbs, and even flowers! We welcome anyone that is willing to help with this effort - No gardening experience needed!

Volunteer hours at the Garden:

  • Saturdays from 9am-12pm
  • Wednesdays from 5-7pm
Please contact our Volunteer Master Gardener, Barry, at bandersenmg@yahoo.com to volunteer!
