Community Kitchen: Meal Support

Description

As a Community Kitchen Meal Support Volunteer, you'll help the Kitchen team with a variety of tasks such as preparing food, chopping veggies, assembling to-go meals, serving meals to guests, washing dishes, and cleaning up after the meal service. The Kitchen is a fun, fast-paced environment.  No prior cooking or restaurant experience is required, as long as you have a passion for serving and an interest in food, we will teach you the rest! Thursday Shifts (2-4pm) will have a special focus on preparing Weekend Meal Packs and repackaging leftovers for guests to enjoy over the weekend.

Closed-toe shoes and hair restraints (hair tied back, hat/hairnet) are required at the Kitchen, in alignment with Health Dept. requirements.
