As a Community Kitchen Volunteer Lead, you'll join us at The Salvation Army of Holland with a focus prepping for the day such as:
- Unloading deliveries
- Understanding prep of the day- first priorities and additional tasks through the day
- Helping set up the kitchen
- Helping orientate new volunteers
- Assisting with dish and flow of kitchen priorities
- Ensuring from 12-12:15PM there is a focus on cleaning
- Helping set up (when needed)
- And working with staff to see if there are other tasks that need to be taken care of
As you are comfortable, lead/provide direction to newer volunteers on: food prep, operating service, clean up, etc.

After parking, go in through the main doors and go down the hallway on the right hand side to the multipurpose room. There, you'll check in on the kiosk and a Community Kitchen Team member will greet you
