The Resale Store is a lively retail environment with a diverse team of staff and volunteers. With hundreds of donations arriving daily -- there is always something interesting going on!
Volunteers at the Resale Store serve in the back room of the store a variety of roles, including: Sorting donations, repairing items (electronics, bikes, furniture), building packaged furniture, pricing items, and stocking items for sale in the store. All of this activity helps turn store donations into Community Action House program funding!
Opportunities are available during store hours: Monday - Saturday, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

All new Resale Store volunteers must attend volunteer orientation and training (see available dates, below!). You will meet with a staff member for a full tour of the store, discuss the current volunteer opportunities and chat about what roles you are interested in, and get some hands-on experience with ongoing projects at the store!
Qualifications:
- All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer independently. Younger volunteers may volunteer alongside an adult, with special permission from the Resale Store staff.
- All volunteers must submit information for a background check.
- Select this form to submit information for your background check.
- You will receive a notification about the status of your background check within 1-3 business days.
