Volunteer with Community Action House this Thanksgiving!
During the Thanksgiving season at Food Club, our mission is to ensure everyone has access to food for a Thanksgiving meal! Join us at our Community Kitchen a few days before Thanksgiving to help us create delicious, shelf stable meals for our neighbors without kitchens to enjoy over Thanksgiving.
As a volunteer, you'll help us cook, decorate and compile a bagged lunch. This is a great opportunity for families if you're interested in serving together this holiday season!
Shifts for this opportunity are:
- Sunday, 11/20 from 12-3pm: food preparation & cooking
- Monday, 11/21 from 1-3pm: food preparation & cooking
- Tuesday, 11/22 from 1-3pm: food packaging, meal packing (and bag decorating for younger kiddos!)*
*Our shift on Tuesday, 11/22 will be the best opportunity to bring kids along, as there will be no cooking involved.
