Each year, Nelis' Dutch Village in Holland hosts a Community Food Drive for their opening day. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, April 20th, from 10am - 3pm, and Community Action House is once again the recipient of the donations of the Food Drive!
We are seeking volunteers to help sort and pack the nonperishable food donations received on that day, and be on-site to represent Community Action House!
Details
- Dress for the weather - This is an outdoor event. Rain or shine, we are helping to host this event. We will be sheltered by the tent and truck set up, but dress for all possibilities!
- Activities will include lifting nonperishable food donations, sorting, and packing them away on the Community Action House truck, and handing out raffle tickets to visitors.
- We're providing some snacks and water, but feel free to bring whatever fuels you (coffee, etc.).
- Parking is available on-site, and you will easily spot our team at the tent and Community Action House truck.
