VITA: Check In (Bilingual)

Description

As a VITA Check in Volunteer, you will assist clients as they check in for their appointment. Basic computer experience helpful, training provided. No previous accounting or tax preparation experience required!   We do ask that you are able to commit to serving at least every other week from January to Mid-April. 

Get Started Today!

  1. Create your volunteer account (if you don’t already have one) 

  2. Submit your information for a background check 

  3. Attend trainings to pass certifications (Volunteer Standards of Conduct-Ethics Training and Intake, interview and Quality Review) provided by Heart of West Michigan United Way

  4. Attend our in-person training on January 7, 2026, and sign our Confidentiality Agreement out of respect for our guests and their privacy
